This policy explains how Zeroth Invariant Systems Ltd ("Zerivant", "we", "us") handles personal data when you visit zerivant.ai or contact us. We are a boutique AI engineering firm, and we treat your data the same way we treat our clients' systems: minimally, transparently, and under your control.
1. Data we collect
- Information you give us — when you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, organisation, and message.
- Technical data — our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request data (IP address, browser type, timestamps) to serve the site securely and protect it from abuse. We use this for security and reliability, not to profile you.
- Aggregated, cookieless analytics — we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and cookieless. It reports aggregate page views and country-level visits. It does not track you across sites or devices.
2. Why we use it (legal basis)
We process your data to respond to your inquiry and to evaluate a potential engagement (pre-contractual steps). We process technical data on the legitimate-interest basis of securing and operating the website. We do not use your data for marketing you did not ask for.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare (hosting, security, analytics, and email delivery), as a processor acting on our instructions. We do not transfer your data to advertising networks.
4. International transfers
We operate across Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Dubai, and Amsterdam. Our site and email are delivered through Cloudflare's global network, so data may be processed outside your country of residence, always under appropriate safeguards.
5. Retention
We keep contact-form submissions and email correspondence only for as long as needed to respond and maintain reasonable business records, then delete them. Analytics is aggregate and retained by Cloudflare for a limited period.
6. Cookies
This website does not use tracking cookies and does not require a cookie banner. Our analytics is cookieless. If we add a contact form with bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), it operates without tracking cookies.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict your personal data, and to object to or complain about our processing. To exercise any right, email [email protected].
8. Security
We apply measures appropriate to a professional engineering firm: HTTPS/TLS everywhere, strict security headers, and Cloudflare's web application firewall. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we work to protect your data as we would our clients'.
